Who we are

Burned Hearts Tattoo & Art Company is a woman-owned tattoo studio in Columbus, Ohio — built from the ground up with one clear vision: create the kind of shop you'd actually want to bring your mother to.

Founded by Di Drago in 2019, Burned Hearts opened its doors with a commitment to bold craft, safe studio standards, and a client experience that goes far beyond just the tattoo. We made it through the pandemic. We grew our team. And we kept our standards exactly where they started — high.

Today, Burned Hearts is home to six experienced artists and a team that genuinely loves what they do. We specialize in fine line, black and gray realism, color, illustrative work, custom lettering, cover-ups, and coordinated sets.

Di Drago founded Burned Hearts in 2019 with a simple but powerful idea: build a tattoo studio that treats every client like family. As a woman-owned business in a male-dominated industry, she's created something rare — a shop where safety, creativity, and client care aren't extras, they're the standard.

John bridges the gap between the artists and the front of house — keeping everything moving so the artists can focus on what they do best. Detail-oriented, client-focused, and always one step ahead.

When they’re not orchestrating daily operations, you’ll find John brainstorming new ways to keep the shop thriving, sharing a laugh with the artists, or dazzling clients with insider tips about their next tattoo masterpiece. Whether it’s troubleshooting, cheering on the team, or rocking their stylish black and red ink tattoos, John embodies the heart and soul of Burned Hearts.
